It is highly water resistant so my intructions say. With the otter box on I can't see how water could get in. I think waterproof is enough for depths of 3' for very very short time. the sales girl said no scuba diving phone calls.....good to know.

The Galaxy S5 has put a crimp on my texting and driving. Just a bit big to hold and get in serious length posts on JDEE while driving too. (My safety disclaimer )

looks like I am still procrastinating but I am trying to get up to Houghton just to look soon. Been shoveling roofs and working some.

Well, I dropped mine in the toilet once (yes, it is possible, never thought it was until I did it) and it worked just fine. You need to make sure the charging port is always closed and you should be good to three feet of water.

As for the keyboard and typing, the first thing I did was switch keyboards to Swiftkey. It is the only app I ever paid for and I definitely think it is worth it.

so after looking around and seeing how expensive phones and plans are I am not going that route. My son gave me his old Iphone 4S so i'm gonna use it. I also am getting another Iphone and need one more for my wife of daughter. Does anyone have an older Iphone they will sell. Sometimes these older phones sit around and don't get used. LMK what you got and maybe we can work a deal.

I'm just gonna do the "straight talk from wal-mart at $45 a month unlimited talk, text and data and do the $30 a month for the other two phones which will have unlimited talk and text and some data. We have wi-fi in so many places now I don't think data will be an issus plus with no contract we can always upgrade easily.

Maybe so but if I don't have a Samsung to compare to than I wont know what I'm missing. Plus, all the people that I know who has iphones love them so I will be just fine,,,,I hope!
