Never mind I found it at the top of the page. Funny they pop up at regular price on the site unless you click the sale button at the top. Wonder if you didn't notice that if they would charge full price today?

Put my order in, couldn't find the 25% and $50 purchase for free shipping deal though, everything said 20% and $75 for free shipping. Spent enough for free shipping, but the extra $10 savings would have been nice. Not a deal breaker, but would have taken it. Never had anything from here, trying out a couple of those $14 undies, some long ones, a pair of 5 pocket hose jeans and a second pair for son's Christmas present. Looking forward to them.

You will be happy. I get there emails steady. Like them on FB and you will get deals far quicker. My customers love that I wear the Plumber t-shirts. The boxers are best. Also love the "ballroom " jeans. Got 3 prs.

Had to place a call to them tonight. First visit to the site the sale popped up at the top. If you don't click on the sale tab they will charge you full price. Second visit to the site after picking a pair no sale banner, called them and they said it would only pop up with a email link to their site? First time I didn't follow any link and it worked? ? Anyway to get the 25% sale price type in " holly " in the coupon code and apply :)

The 20% discount on everything /free shipping at $75 order came after the 25% fire hose only. My winter season email notifications comes quickly but during summer I did get late notification too... not sure why? DTC is high quailty working man's clothes but I only buy when they offer a sale the I'm all over it. Is there another supplier other than Carhart?

My Duluthflex Fire Hose pants with fleece lining arrived today ...I'm surprised I ordered a bunch of buck naked boxer briefs before these & still not here. Not complaining I needed pants more than underware.:)

My favorite is their Shoreman's Fleece jacket. I have it in three different colors.

Saw that and liked...I'm concerned outer layer would not do well with firewood campfire sparks...what do you think?

Personally I think their sh** is WAY overpriced, regardless of quality.........YMMV

I tend to agree, I can get 3 pair of fleece lined jeans for what 1 pair of fire hose cost. The claim is they outlast other work pants, how many people out grow them before they wear them out.

Well, they're fleece, probably not the most flame resistant material. However they're great for running in and out of the car/stores in the winter. Think super duper warm fleece zip up. With the wind resistant layer, they're warmer than most of my dressier NON snowmobile or Carhart type jackets.
On another note, we stopped at the DT outlet store in Belleville WI today and they were flipping PACKED. There was even a line for the washrooms. I thought I saw a sign that they were reducing prices even more than usual to clear stuff out. Not sure what all the wife bought, but I got a few pairs of $60 carpenter twill pants for $15 dollars, but you need to look though the piles to find the ones that people HAVEN'T worn before they got returned. Then we drove out to the DT store in MT Horeb to pickup some gifts and the stuff that we couldn't find at the outlet. I think everything there was discounted 20%. Spent over $300 but most of the Xmas shopping is finished only two days after Thanksgiving. :D

I have a few pair of these. They do last twice as long than my Dickies work jeans, but cost over twice as much. The big problem I have with them,is the oils and grease won't wash out of them with out pre treating the heck out of them with Dawn. If you deal with a lot of oil and grease, don't buy them. Regalur dirt, mud, ect ,wash right out?

What was your experience with DTC work pants?

Same question?

None, and unless I'm given a pair I'll never have any experience with them. NO WAY I'd pay $75 for a pair of pants. Even if they are made to last long time, too much initial investment for me.
Picked up a batch of Dickies at Fleet Farm, $5 a pair after rebate, pair them with long johns and I'm good to go. So that'd work out to more than 10 sets, for the cost 1 pair of DTC. I'm pretty confident that would outlast 1 pair of lined firehose pants, And wear without long johns in summer.

I've always preferred the Red Cap brand uniform clothing over Dickies, both shirts and pants, and for not a lot more money.
I recently needed blue uniform pants asap so I bought 6 pairs of Dickies. Wore them once and realized my mistake. Ordered 6 Red Cap brand instead and had them within a few days. Then donated the Dickies to Goodwill.

Back when I worked in service stations I wore those pants. I personally am way more comfortable in jeans.
If the Dickies you bought were the uniform style pants, not the work jeans, you may have a point. I've never tried Dickies uniform pants.

Yep they were uniform pants. The Red Cap material seems thicker, it holds the crease forever where as the Dickies lost it after a wash or two. Plus the cut on the Red Caps seems better suited for working and has a button at the waist instead of the metal clip that came undone a few times when I bent over. I often get 4 or 5 years from the Red Cap pants and usually get rid of them because the color starts fading away.
PS, after 30 years of uniform pants, I cant stand wearing jeans, they're heavy and uncomfortable.
