Had a minor electrical problem with the hand grips on a Ski Doo sled brought into Ski Doo dealer paid to have fixed problem was not repaired. Drove to Pats YAMAHA what a awesome group of people they have there diagnosed problem repaired within the hour. Just wanted to say these people really know the definition of customer service. Thanks again.

P.S The kid couldn't thank you guy's enough. YAMAHA parts on DOO a its a new hybrid

Did not post to bash any dealer. All people are human and make mistakes. Just wanted to it to be known how professional and courteous we were treated at Pats.

Shame on your Doo dealer! Kudos to Pat's for providing excellent service. A little bit of compassion, effort, and pride go a long way these days.

Pats is the only place that ill bring my poos for service. 300 miles from my house, 80 miles from camp. Worth the drive everytime.

I'm sure the crew at Pats is outstanding.

But let's be real here, the proper fix for any doo is to trade it in on another brand. That's the only way to properly fix the ski doos.

It was a Doo Renegade that year. Even I jumped ship when the Fusion came out. I call it the dark years.

Well, since all Yams have come with handwarmers that don't work from the factory since about 2003, they probably got a lot of practice.

lol

Post was edited not trying to blame anyone. Just saying what good service we received at pats. As a proud owner of 4 Ski Doo sleds I wont be changing brands anytime soon! People are human all make mistakes just some of us more than others.

well that's not true at all. There were a couple of years in the mid 2000's that they didn't get hot enough but since 2003?? that's a stretch. I've had 12 Yamaha's since model year 2002. I had two that had hand warmer problems, the 2006 apex GT and 2007 attak GT. They were the only sleds that had an issue. I've had 6 Yamaha's from model year 2009, 4 of which I still own and none have issues. I have never had to set them more than half way on the coldest of nights. Just wanted to set the record straight.

And by the way, I've owned two ski-doos during that same time period without any problems and will probably buy the doo 2 up when I'm ready to trade in my existing 2013 Yamaha venture GT. My wife likes the seat better on the Doo 2up and the suspension (front and back) is hard to beat.

My 1st experience with Pat's was nothing short of amazing. Had a 2006 Yamaha Apex Attak. The exhaust pipe broke while 300+ miles from where I could fix it and 100+ miles from the truck. He had me back on the trail within about 3 hours - that day! I hung out in their shop and every time I fell asleep, Kip's daughter would kick me in the shin. I still laugh about that today. Their prices were inline and service was outstanding.

Just to clarify, The U P Ski-Doo dealer that could not fix the warmers was NOT Timberline Sports.

Drove up from Lake Tomahawk Wis to get a part for my Ski doo Renangade and Mark at Timberline Sports was great to work with. Timberline is all about customer service. I will visit them again for my next snowmobile. Thanks Mark!
