snowboard boots for sled riding

Anyone wear snowboard boots while riding their snow machines? I'm seeing some very reasonable prices on non-current snowboard boots. Thinking they'd have good ankle support and be warm enough.
Any thoughts on this cross use?

doo has the snowboard attach bracket which confuses me as to how this works on a 1 up sled....maybe momoney can shed some light.

spent my first 4 years in this sport using snowboard boots, as I was an avid snowboarder until I found a winter activity that had an engine strapped to it  It worked great, and most snowmobile boots have the stiff ankles anyway that snowboard boots have, which is the only thing to consider. My fiancée still wears her snowboard boots from years ago and will only upgrade to make them match her gear honestly, they fit and function perfectly. My dolt feet (size 14) are awkward in snowboard boots when walking into bars etc because of the limited ankle mobility, but I was used to it from snowboarding. I bought the Motorfist Stomper boots because of their flexible ankle and I'm very happy with it, but its only because when you have size 14 feet, in boots with no ankle movement, every step feels like trying to walk down the street in downhill skis.

LOL....Doo is so advanced!

Yes they are and if you act now you get a $2016 rebate to buy their boots.

Good question to ask yourself when shopping for boots. " How far can I walk in deep snow or down a trail with them on." Running out of gas, break downs. Etc. Can happen to any sled at any time.
