As far as giving up a first round pick for Bradford who cares? There is no guarantee that first round draft picks are going to be superstars. See Matt kalil or corduroy Patterson. Drafting is a crapshoot.
By the time the snow flies vikings fans will have forgotten about Bridgewater. A nice guy that says everything right but never was and will never be an above average nfl qb
. he will be lucky to be able to walk without a limp. As far as returning to the nfl. Forget it.

Still cant believe they gave 1 for bradford. He doesnt finish a 16 game season very often. Eagles made out like bandits.
What were they supposed to do, go for proven NON-starters, like Sanchez? Stay with Hill and Stave? Nope, had to get someone like Bradford, for THIS YEAR. Was the price steep? Maybe, maybe not. Bradford was a #1 overall in 2010. The pick the Eagles get will most likely be in the 20's anyway.
This is a move they HAD to make, let's see how it plays out. If you were Bradford, you'd probably be one of the most motivated guys in the league! I would be on the first plane to MN, and reading the play book on the way. What an opportunity for the guy, going from a "going no where" Eagles team, to making a team better that is poised for a playoff run. Let's hope he plays like it.....
Money move on Gould also. I think he was supposed to make 2.6 mil or somehting like that.
More interesting than that how come the Packers let Sitton go without a replacement in place? Also no long snapper on Pack right now. The opener is a week away. What is up with that?
If the Vikings make the playoffs the trade would be worth it, if not then def a big waste of draft picks.
The heat is on.
The bears filled a hole with sitton. Thank you packers
Everyone practiced yesterday but pernell mcfee, JJ watt is gona play sunday for Houston, looking forward to a good game and finally a start to the season
$3 million but not so much for an NFL player, imo, but maybe a lot for a kicker? Pace said he topgraded Gould better kicker available so he fired Gould hired new kicker simply because he was available which tells me a lot about Pace and Fox. If not their guy and you don't produce for top pay bye -bye. I'm thinking Cutler is next probably oldest player on the team now.... Bears maybe 500 at best this year so better QB available bye-bye Cutler and big cap dollars. If the young Bears are dismal this year young gun QB with legs sure to be drafted in 2017. I doubt the Bears will surprise anyone this year lots of holes or very thin & TE is terrible after Miller.

Sitton a cap cut Packers have lots of cap problems now & worse next year.
What is wrong with Pernell McFee? They kind of need him.
Sitton was not a "cap cut" and the Packers did not have "lots of cap problems". 6 million under before and 12.5 million under now. What would you know, you're a Bears fan aren't you?
Bradford known for quick release and accurate passing you can't teach skill like that you either have it or you don't. How fast Bradford can learn the Vikes system is the question? Joining back up with his old bud AP is a good thing too. I hope it all works out well & good luck to the Vikes this year!
In other words not only is he injury prone he sucks.
He didn't say that, and I don't deny money had something to do with it. He said it was about cap problems - they don't have cap problems in the most conservative organization in football. Not trying to start a P'ing contest but this was about something more than salary cap and money. If it was about money you don't go thru an entire training camp with the guy and cut him a week before the 1st game, you cut him before OTA's. It remains to be seen if it helps the Bears, assuming they can be helped in a significant way this year anyway.Money def has something to do with releasing sitton. Was not the only reason but they said he was not willing to take a pay cut that Thompson wanted. Either way helps da bears.

I personally don't understand this, and I've been a Packer fan for 50+ years.
FYI,,,, he had the worst pass completion percentage in the NFL last year for QB's throwing X amount of passes.
