This is my Gopro footage from December 18th 2015 in Toivola,MI. The night before when we arrived there was no more than 6-8 inches of crust snow. but we got lucky and as we arrived in the UP a Lake Effect Snow Warning was issued and as we were unloading it started coming down. It snowed nonstop all night and most of the day. We ended up with 3-5 feet of fresh snow within 24 hours. We were really the only ones up there at the time so we had it all to ourselves. this video was taken on Trail 3 then off onto a logging road. We broke trail like this the entire day. Just thought you guys might enjoy this video and a reminder that winter is close! Nice vid, gets the blood pumping.
I love it when the snow guns of the lake kick on and no one has made it up to spoil trails. It is a great time.

Where did you stay? Did you run into a lot of water?
We had some tough times early in the season last year.

love it ZACL216 I rode that storm too.....this is an older film but I wanted to show you the diff from top mounted to side mounted....I discovered top mounted is better at filming what your eyes see....get that camera mounted on top o you head....or raise it more...no less than this height so we can see the trail ahead also....I also love to try to match the filmed footage to the songs words....enjoy....this is on top of BIGBAY in the yellow dog plains and truck trail

Thanks! It was a awesome trip! We stayed at the Trailside Lodge in Calumet. We ran into water north towards Calumet on trail 3 and also south towards Toivola but wasn't terrible. Thanks for the watch!

Saturday morning was the best day of the entire trip! We got out nic and early and broke trail most the day! One for the books for sure!
