I hear ya. There's a few new ones. What boggles me is why have threads such as my "move to the UP" thread be in the "older threads" area not long after it was posted? (maybe week or so) And it wasnt even that old when I checked a couple weeks later and had to search older threads? I thought it was deleted and asked John but then I saw the "older threads" link. You would think that the more these topics are seen and commented on the more hits and better John will do?.........PS correction its not older threads it titled "Thread Display Options"

Not sure what you mean. ....I think as long as a thread gets replied to, it stays on top....?

Yes true and I wasnt going to bump it up. What was weird was there were only a short list at the time in the Off Topic Ramblings like nearly all the threads were gone and my recent one on moving to the UP was already in the older topics category? I thought maybe a server website limit on threads and data? It was so quick to go there I asked John if it was deleted but I then found it. No big deal I was just wondering but not enough to bother John on the whole issue.

At the bottom of the Off Topic Ramblings is a search box that reads "Thread Display Options to correct myself....Maybe it's gone. I hope i didnt come across as bragging in the thread I just wanted to help a fellow sledder move to the UP....It was titled something like Move to Big Snow Country where the homes are cheap and the snows deep.......I found it. See now the thread is full but I believe at the moment I didnt see the post a week or two later and thought If i have to search for my thread already nobody else is going to search for it?

Uh of course? Did you read above where I said I wasnt going to bump it to the top? I'm not trying to sell anything. It would be nice if you could scroll down and continue to see the older threads in order thats all.

Maybe there an adjustment you can make in your settings. My set up keeps a full month of threads in current status.
Repost in Misc. ...seems to be more viewers here.
