To me, nothing better than a fresh fish fry with a few old fashions.

Tonight my 7 year old daughter helped me hand bread bluegill that my son and I caught. Really doesn't get better than that - well except a 150 mile ride before that.

We will be stopping at the Redwood Inn(Bellvue, WI)on our way up to the UP this thursday. Imo it's the best perch plate in the world.

Gogebic - know the area well, but if you like the redwood inn, you need to try the goal post, just down the road from there. IMHO, that is the best perch in that area. And great old fashions as well.

good to know, been told I need to try Maricques too. We drive close to an hour out of the way on our UP trips just for perch plates and old fashions
