OK this is real interesting.....we came across a young man who was stuck on the trail .We checked to see if he needed help but said his buddies were on there way. About a mile down the trail we found his buds at an intersection with a plowed road ....Bradley Lake Rd.....it was a white Avalanche with 2 young men in the front and at least 1 in the back....told them there friend was down the trail. He was in a blue Avalanche.
This trail is half plowed half groomed on Star lk. rd. in Forest Co. south of Laona.

Glad they were apprehended, that could have been a bad situation for ya snobuilder. You can never know how a drugged up desperate person can react.

I stink at linking on my phone, but in the end, you got it in the end.
The world she sure is achangin'! Newspapers, newsmagazines, radio, television, cable … all dead or dying?
Now we gots Farcebook, Twitter, LinkedIn … and we get our news on an on-line blog site? Ye Dogs!

'Tanks for the lead, anyway, snobuilder. (I think.) I got it in the end??? Ooops! :eek2:

The article claims the high speed pursuit reached speeds "over" 100 MPH. Don't Chevy Avalanches have a 100 MPH speed limiter?

Still wondering if that was a connection to these guys. The news article doesn't mention an actual break-in in WI....where I saw the 2 trucks could lead to seasonal dwellings though....Might take a look see this weekend.

Snobuilder, if you read the comments under the article there was a lady who said it was her aunts Trailblazer stolen in Mellen Wi, just West of Mercer. So at it seems it all started in Wi.

We had a couple new riders with us this past few days and didn't want to waste time on this.
Might check it out Friday.
