I have always enjoyed watching Rodgers play the game. Some unbelievable talent I must say. So here is to wishing him a full, and speedy recovery!!!

Hoping for a speedy recovery also! The game is just better with the elite talent on the field. After watching Bears for years and years its gets really old with sub par QB play. Maybe, just maybe the Pack can make it to the playoffs or wildcard and Rodgers can make it back like a couple seasons ago. NFC North is up for grabs!

Probably not even that good but let's see what the kid, Hundley can do before we fold up the tents.

Seems the Viking have to hold on to Bridgewater now or Pack will pick him up. Romo not leaving the TV booth he is done and not in shape to play. Pack will be shopping for a QB that can help... Hundley not the answer. Everything with Rogers and the Pack is in limbo now might not resign him...just don't know yet.

WD what have spiked your OJ with this morning???

Of course they're going to resign him. Because he broke his collar bone were done with the best QB in the NFL? We'll just grab the best QB in the NFL off the streets?? This injury by no means what so ever affects Rodgers future. He didn't die ya know.

No clown on the street is taking Huntley's spot, especially one that's out of shape and injury prone or one that doesn't stand for the National Anthem and sucks anyways. Huntley is as talented and knows a **** of a lot more about this offense than any scrub not playing.

Huntley IS the answer this year. He's not horrible at all. He's not Rodgers. He's a back up. Who in the world do you think they're going to get to play QB off the street? Huntley is their man going forward. Period. End of story. Not brining in Romo, not Kap, not Favre

I like to think out of the box and how does anyone know Rogers will be his old self when he heals up??? That is his throwing shoulder and he will need to rehab next summer. The Pack management is also thinking out of the box Rogers is no spring chicken and will want a huge contract. The Packers would never let their staring QB go right....LOL... Just ask Brett about that!...lol.. Believe me The Pack is talking to other teams and your are dreaming if you think they are not. The Pack has lots of needs and star draft choices and FAs cost big bucks too so don't think an injured Rogers has the same value as a pristine Rogers....this is a business and no slam dunks on any injured player even Rogers.

I agree it is Huntley's show. Some news blurb says they might try to get Tolzoin back for a backup to Huntley. But there are big shoes to fill. Rodgers play covered up a lot of O line problems. After Sunday the O line is even more banged up. And they lost some more defensive backfield guys. Green Bay is extremely banged up period. Mr. Drew Brees is going to hang 35 on them Sunday. At home. Then they get their bye. After that they get the Bears and Detroit. Both of them tough divisional games. The NFC North is weird though. As much as this opens the door for the Vikes and Detroit they will each probably find a way to screw it up. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if GB still won the division. Maybe with a 7-9 record. Stranger things have happened.

OK folks, guess I'll be subbing for Nash here... he spells it H-U-N-D-L-E-Y

as for his first name Brett, well we all know how to spell that one.

Come to think of it, nobody could spell Favre's name either and that worked out OK.

Lol!!!
WD u r comparing apples to oranges.
Favre wasn't TT's guy. Rodgers is. Rodgers isnt playing the retirement card yearly. Favre did. Rodgers is at his peak was on his way to an MVP season and is arguably the best in the league. Favre wasn't.

Currently today right now it is ridiculous to think the Packers r entertaining trade offers for Rodgers.
Lol. The best QB's in their prime don't get traded, broke bone or not.
Stop with the fake news please my friend.

McCarthy just had his presser and was adamant they are NOT bringing in any one to play quarterback.
As far as trading Rodgers for picks the press didn't have the kahunas to ask that question.

Yeah, Coach got a little testy there...

from NBC Sports;
Packers coach Mike McCarthy grew visibly angry today when a reporter asked if Green Bay would consider signing free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
“Did you just listen to the question I just answered? I’ve got three years invested in Brett Hundley, two years invested in Joe Callahan, the quarterback room is exactly where it needs to be. OK? We’re fortunate to have a great quarterback in Aaron Rodgers, we’re committed to the path we’re on. We need to play better as a football team. Brett Hundley will start this week and Joe Callahan will be the backup,” McCarthy said.

You Packer fans are so spoiled having great QBs you think Rogers is an ageless fixture. IMO he is not anymore and TT has to listen to offers especially with a huge contract coming up and Rogers breaking his collar bone of his throwing arm. Is a broken Rogers worth as much as an uninjured Rogers?....I think not and the Pack needs more quality at every position which also has a cost. The Packers have a way of doing the unexpected and landing in a bed of roses. If you watch college football there are some amazing QBs hitting the draft this year. That is why I wondered why Pace of the Bears didn't wait until 18 to draft a QB and paid such a big price for Trubisky in 17 draft. TT can find a good QB in the 18 draft even if he signs Rogers because Hundley is not the heir. IMO TT needs to fix his Oline ...Rogers has been running around naked for years and sooner or later he was going to get hurt via a legal hit outside the pocket. It's a shame he is out for the season as I really liked watching him play but I'm not surprised at all he got hurt with a poor Oline on the field for MN game.

WD obviously we need help in other places,,,,everyone does. The O line doesn't need fixing it needs to get healthy. We did have a solid o line but when you lose four starters on it,,, well their called back ups for a reason. And the O line had nothing to do with the injury. Nothing.
But to jet set the best QB in the league for a bunch of picks? Lets be realistic.
You really have me puzzled on you're getting at. You say the Pack should be listening to offers for Rodgers (not happening) and in the same sentence you say TT can find a good QB in the draft because it's loaded. Color me confused.

Sorry WD, I just don't see that scenario playing out right now. Maybe a couple years down the road when Rodgers is on the backside of his career. The pack have a chance right now to see what type of a QB they have in their system and to plan for the future. If Hundley does well they may have their future QB, if he falls flat they will have to address the situation in the draft sometime in the near future. A perfect scenario would be to draft Rodgers backup about a year or so before Rodgers retires and allow the future QB to learn and get acclimated to the NFL.
