I took it to mean that ppl were comparing it to other motels they have stayed at where as long as the room was cleaned and ready, you were allowed to get in....works well with sledders who just want to drop off belongings in room, get changed and hit the trails.
This has been our experience and have always appreciated it.

Rather high priced.Room rates doubled plus some. Cleaned up some compared to what it used to be. Food and drinks are pricey. Paid $2.75 for an
8 oz. milk at the snack bar. I believe check in is 4 PM and you WON'T get your room any sooner. I'd look for a better place to stay !!!!

Yeah, and you can get the small filet in the steakhouse for around $36.00. The large one is 40 something.....

We paid $125 on a Thursday night for one room with 2 doubles. Room was clean, don't remember getting any gambling allowances. Bar was good but smokey, forgot that smoke gives me a headache.

Stay at the Running Bear, much better, much friendlier. You can sled to the casino if you want to gamble.

i agree the Running Bear resort is a great place to stay. They have always treated us well.

Been staying around the Bruce crossing area for years way less traffic and a few pit stops close by also plenty of spots to hit some fresh pow oh ya did I mention way less traffic snow can be low on the grade but plenty of spots to hit pow

stopped in a won some cash for the ride home early this morning. Defiantly needs some TLC. And what was up with all of the needle collection stations and warning signs? Box in the mens room was about full of used syringes.

Yes indeedy, what's available in BC these days that I don't know about? I'm not aware of anything around there since Tulppo's Motel closed some years ago.

Running Bear is great! Mike and Linda great hosts! Park your sled right next to cabin and simple unload from truck to cabin. Bring some steaks and grill out. A true sledding retreat!

Running bear is great.. I also know there are houses for rent around Bruce.. look at coop board when ya get fuel.. I think the old .. the flowage is being rented that’s on bond falls nice place.. tulppos was a blast stayed there a lot plenty of memories in the place...
