Ironwood

Hope this is o.k. to post. Because of the huge fire in downtown Ironwood, water is scarce to non-existent. Only bottled water is good. Our son manages a restaurant there and said that they cannot make anything that has to do with water. For breakfast there is only bottled water or soda to drink. If you are traveling thru there in the next day or two, be careful what and where you eat. This was also on the news but I don't have the link at this time. Rev

Sorry to hear about the nasty fire and about the fatality reported. I saw it on a live feed last night on FB. The news reports said because of the large water usage to extinguish, it stirred up the water resources and it's a brownish color right now. I assume all the iron in the water there may have caused it?

Very bad deal there. Treating the fire scene as a crime scene. Never a good thing.... Two aerials and a bunch of ground lines will use a crap load of water!!! I bet that was a 500,000 gallon fire. 12 hours and still visible flames. Prayers go out to all involved.
