Fun trip to cabin

So we were heading up to Finland Saturday morning and rolling thru Duluth. Just under the 21st at bridge on I35 the rear end of the truck lost traction and went sideways. I was fighting that sucker for a couple hundred yrs with a loaded 4 place trailer behind me all over the freeway. I even said to my wife about 1/2 thru it I wasn’t giving up yet. Eventually the trailer got to sideways, got into the the driver side rear of the truck and spun me completely around on the free way. The front of the truck also hit the median wall. So there I sit in the left lane of the northbound freeway and I’m pointing southbound. As we are sitting there waiting for the police to arrive I see a car soon out in the exact same spot and hit the wall. So once the police came they did the accident report and stopped traffic so I could back my truck and trailer up the the end of the freeway and get turned around. Once we evaluated the damage we decided to continue on. The truck has a fair amount of damage on opposite corners and the trailer has damage from where it it the truck and the other corner where it hit the wall. Snowmobiles were ok, slid around a bit.

That's a win my man! To come out of that with everybody ok and that small amount of damage, I wouldn't feel so bad.

X3, count yourself lucky everyone is good. Things can be fixed or replaced. I go on far too many accidents where the results are much different.

Wow!!!!!!!!! Well, it sounds as if you had more good luck, than bad luck, for how you came thru that ordeal??????????? Glad to hear all of you are safe, and able to drive on to your cabin!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy, and be safe!!!!!!!!!!!!

**** thats nothin. Good thats all it was. Glad all are safe. One time on the way home from a trip from newberry we hit black ice. Perfectly clear morning. No snow. Guy driving was staring at a car in the median and next thing i know we are going sideways and i look to my right out the passenger window and theres the trailer. We ended up in the median of us 127 jack knifed with the trailer on its side and sled on their sides in the trailer. As we were out in the median awaiting assistance another car came sliding off. It was nuts.
Ive alsoe witnessed many times vehicles sliding off the roads and rolling multiple
Times. Its somewhat traumatic.
