I didnt use that cable but yes I put one on mine. simply plug it in and run the wire to wherever you want it. Very easy. The 2 wire sae plug is under the headlight.

Just wondering if you've gotten this figured out yet. The first link is majorly overpriced. The second link basically gives you a cigarette lighter. Then you plug your existing cigarette lighter cord into that. Or you can buy an adapter that has two USB ports on it.

If it was me I'd wire in the connection that I want. One less connection point to rattle loose when riding. The big things remember is you can't just cut a USB cable and wire it in you need a transformer between. USB ports are designed to be 5.5 volts. Then there's different amperages. More amps equals a faster charge.

Something like this would be an adapter for the second link above.

Here's one like the one you posted. Note the one you posted appears to be the same as this what should be the slow charge.

This one would get you a very finished look if you have the space on your dash.

If you have the two prong SAE plug Then you could buy this so you don't have to cut anything.

Sorry guys, I haven't got back to this. Was just putting feelers out there to see what others have done. I'll probably tackle it when I put the sleds away for the summer (yes I'm probably behind haha) which will be in the next few weeks.

Thanks for the input, I do appreciate it.
