I was not sure where to put this, not exactly a toy but a necessity for most. Most the talk here seems logical and honest so thought I would throw it out there. Seems my mower has called it quits and the repair is enough to make me look at newer units. Coming off a Toro zmaster and having a hard time with the prices and condition of what I have been seeing out there. Have it down to toro titan max, grasshopper, or scag patriot zero turns at this point. What are some of you running and likes/dislikes of them. Like to keep the deck to 52 or 54, 60 would be max.

personal use, just under 5 acres total between to properties. even if it gets done the same day there is travel time between them.

The grasshopper is overkill for what your cutting...They start at almost $12k...There is a plethora of mid grade mowers that will fit your needs in the $5500-7500.00 range...The Toro Titan is a big box store mower, I would steer clear, and purchase from an independent dealer...The Scag is pricey too...Although the Koehler motor would be fine for your required usage, I prefer the Kawasaki 730 series motor...Hydrogear transaxles would be my preference too...A good shopping tool would be the Russo Power Equipment website...Most mower oem's have special financing...0% for 48 & 60 mo on some...It's basically free use of THEIR money...Good Luck
