Twistgrip- Scottys belts shredded so bad you couldn't read the numbers on them. The second belt blow was the worst, the cords wrapped around the secondary and took nearly and hour to clear it! Tech- that was the Michigan House in Calumet. They had some excellent food!

mmmm I wounder why they were shredding so bad??my friend bought same sled,we picked it up for him as he is in Iraq and will be home Feb to ride it, I will have to tell him to bring some belts in Feb!!!

That was the Michigan House. They have great food and microbrews. The belt issue was a combination of the M1000 being half set up for the mountains (higher elevation) and half being set up for lower elevations. I believe M&M changed out the helix and worked on the secondary clutch to get the problem solved. Scottiking didn't have an issue after that was solved. Thanks to Chad at M&M in Hancock to make it right! Merry X Mas everyone on John Dee!!!

LOL he's lucky Chris had a extra belt, i don't think Scott had a spare on him!

had a spare but used it 45 mile earlyer!
Its all good now! I didnt buy a spare yet 300 bucks a month is my spending limit!

Hey Scotting

I have two 1000 belts left over from my 2007 and 2009 1000 crossfires. One under 500 miles and think one I have never used. I have the new M8 and it won't use that belt...ouch. I will sell you both for $75. I will be a Ma's with dhealy Jan 14th-16th and if interested can leave for your review or if you want before I can find out what shipping costs would be.
