Yamahachick, Thank you very much for the nice comment. We are on a small, private lake southwest of Grand Rapids (towards the Hastings area). We wish it were up north But then, I think most of us on this site wish we were north! How about you? I had read you had moved to the Gaylord area. How fun is that!!! So happy for you and hoping you guys are really enjoying it. How is your snow? We (of course) don't have squat down here---we haven't even had a "snowstorm" yet this year. Unless you ask the weather people on tv--they think an inch or two is darn near the end of the world!!! We designed our house ourselves and did much of the building process ourselves and I tell you what do we have stories!!! It was not fun but that is a long story for another time and I won't bore you with the details. The inside is all wood (floors, ceiling, walls) and was designed to look like a cottage that had been here for many years. If I ever get my pics. sorted maybe I will get some more up on here.
