Very nice! sounded like trails were in much need of refreshing snows up there, and with cold setting in grooms should set up tight as well, weekend traffic might me a bit much with MLK and derby weekend but at least we wont be dealing with warm temps so conditions should hold and next week...

I would be completely shocked if Nora would be willing to sell the JohnDee site, personally I highly doubt it and do not blame her as it was his site, his style and her memory of him and it. I hope its here to stay just as it is, and hope whatever hiccups or whatever it may be gets resolved and...

Kelly, I was looking on another enthusiast site and some had mentioned ECM (Eastern Michigan Cycle) for used and vintage parts, didn't know if you were aware of it, I had never heard of it. Sounds like quite the place, just wanted to give you a heads up. :cool:

Darren, that may just be a decorative cap, some were just chrome, some had a rubber seal in top of them you would have to remove to access grease zerk, I would be very surprised now a days if it didn't have either a bearing buddy under the cap or a grease zerk in the end of axle. That 27'...

Here too, regardless of how long it was, relieved it's still here! I must have checked it 20 times LOL! maybe I am addicted LOL! lived through it though :p Lots of good people here, many of which have become good friends with, glad its back!

stayed at boondock when it was called Omers, also stayed at Parkview many a times when it was first built, it is a nice area, Boondockers really did a nice job revamping the place and has good food and right up road from Krupps and Parkview so you have your choices of eats and a place to gas...

talking another 3 to 6" Saturday into early Sunday too I thought I had read :cool:

Honestly.... I think things were much simpler back then, didn't have to worry about all the bs we have to deal with these days.
