    A March Vintage Afternoon

What he said... In 1972, now owned by the Coleman Company of Wichita, Kansas, “Skiroule shook the industry with the sharpest styling ever” according to our Snow Goer predecessors. The super-sleek new design was based on its successful 1971 factory racers who had taken the Mod 340 class at...

    What'd I Miss?

Not really. Nothing high risk on our part. I do recall a couple of unusual pop ups in the days leading up to this. At the time I just X'd them out. When they tripped a Red Flag at our Credit Union/local finances, the train jumped the tracks.

    What'd I Miss?

I've been gone for a couple of days. Did anybody notice? Didn't think so. I wasn't kidnapped, deported to El Salvadore, or lost in the wilderness. Our computer was hacked/corrupted and required some downtime for repairs. If you've ever had this happen to you or yours, you know what we're going...

    What Happens in Vegas....

In the memory of "frnash" I now nominate dwz as our new official spellchecker. May the vowels and syllables flow with great accuracy from this day forth.

    What Happens in Vegas....

Sure thing! Many have traveled there for business and personal. In my case, the Hoover Dam, was on my list of things to see, and the city was a nice bonus to experience. The perfect place for Trade Shows and Conventions.

    What Happens in Vegas....

Yeah, now that we're home and had some time to get back in my routine, a few final thoughts. Hoover Dam was definitely my favorite highlight. The Tour Guide was a local comedian with a side hustle and began the day with the following; "I want to welcome every dam one of you to this Dam tour...

    What Happens in Vegas....

We just spent a few days in Sin City. Not a lot of sinning, but a lot of sightseeing for "Gary-in-Vegas". I'm proud to say that I didn't lose a dime at the tables, mainly because I don't gamble. (except for the Stock Market, and that's a subject for another day) We did help support the local...

TOYOTA SNOWMOBILE OUT ON THE TRAIL SUNDAY

Oddities along the trail; A few years ago southwest of Hurley, our group came across the same thing. A four-wheel drive off in the ditch along the snowmobile trail. Lone occupant, twenty something female, cold and shivering, wearing leather boots and a short jacket. Said she, "just got off...

    Hold My Beer!

The Day They Stole the Pacecar. I recently went down a Rabbit Hole while looking for something else. (ever happen to you?) I found this clip from back in 1986 of the Pre-race at Talladega. I wasn't much of a race fan back then and I'd never heard the story. The video runs about 2 minutes and is...

    Started the 2025 trip.

Welcome to the area, elf. Should be quite the week in Titletown. Looks like a good portion of the stadium parking lot will be the events stage area. Traffic is going to be a challenge, try to get here early and park it. Plenty to do within walking distance of Lambeau. Definitely do a Stadium...

    Chinese knockoff Super Clamps II

These clamps work great! I've had mine for about 10 years. They're fast, easy, and secure. As to "Made in China", I'll have to check. Mine looks identical to the one in the picture. I find myself buying more and more on-line, mostly because it's so darn easy and convenient. I have noticed one...
