    John Dee

Wow.... I've been thinking about this for a while and like many of you I just don't have the words to describe all the different emotions and thoughts I have. Obviously I'm thinking of Nora and Grace and praying for them to feel the support of their family, friends from the local community and...

    Nora's Journal 2/21/2021

Nora's Journal 2/21/2021 Thanks for taking one for the team Nora and writing the journal this week! Always good to read the update from you and the way you craft the events. In answer to your question, I may not have been around to read the first journal, but if I remember correctly...

    Tracker's Writing Style

Tracker, I'm always curious when I read your posts why you normally don't write in complete sentences, but rather make a short statement then add several dots before your next short statement. Maybe you can give us all the logic behind that style as I for one can not understand any benefit to it.

    2019 Arctic Cat Release Information

I watched the FB Live feed last night. It cut out several times, but I think there were really only 3 things revealed. The new M Alpha1 which has a single rail and provides easier maneuverability in the deep off trail stuff, the click on the fly suspension settings (they showed it on a trail...

    New Trail Boss

Congratulations to Brian Anderson! John mentioned this in the Journal and I was excited to hear the news. I've spent the last two years working with Brian on the trail cleanup weekend and he is a great guy who is really interested in improving things on the trails. As a groomer driver he...

    Dollar Bay Gas Opening!

Just like the title says, the gas station in Dollar Bay is opening back up! Will be a nice addition to those that take the east trail after crossing the bridge on the way north, or if you're looking to refuel a rental on the way back to Chad at MM Sports.

    Son's Wedding 9/16/17

Well like the title says, my son got married this past Saturday. It was a great day, had a couple choked up moments, but couldn't ask for a better match for him. He's work summers in the UP for 5 years until this year, but he took up for a weekend to visit some friends a while ago and she her...

    NCAA Bracket Challenge 2017

Not much time to comment today, still looks like it will come down to the championship game. Someone else can give more details. The Caribbean is calling!

    NCAA Bracket Challenge 2017

I realize this should probably go in the "Off Topic" section, but hopefully I won't get in to much trouble for putting it in the "Miscellaneous" section. We've done this the last few years and it's never been a large group, but it's been something fun to follow. By posting it here, and getting...

South Range to Houghton Trail 3

Anyone ride this Since 2/26? Keweenaw Trail report on 3/3 said the snow cover is now too low to continue to groom. Obviously the trail will continue to get bumpy but I'm wondering how rideable it is. Rocks, bare spots, water etc?

    North of Calumet 2/20

I dropped in Phoenix about 8:15AM, took 124 to Gay, trail was in good shape, a few bumps but nothing major. There were more sections that were completely flat than there were with bumps. Plenty of snow cover, a few turns had a bare spot, but nothing to cause concern. From Gay I took 133 north...
