  • Bringing some Sled Diva action to Grand Marais this weekend! Look for the Back Country Bombshell ripping the pow!!
Here I am! Since I sold my sled, I have been pouting because I STILL can't find what I want! BUT, I will be seeing ya'll up in Seney next weekend!!
Always nice to talk with fellow Ski Doo riders! I take a lot of crap being the only one in the group. Everyone else had Cats or Polaris... Look forward to hooking up this winter! Beers sound good! How many guys are riding with you this weekend? Our buddy, Steve, is having a bonfire at his house Saturday night. We will be there after the ride. I'll drop you a text and see what's up. Be safe!
Thanks for the info Ann. We ended up booking the Baymont in gaylord For $59.00 a night. (government rate) I talked to Ray's and the Downtown motel before we booked Baymont. They were both around $55.00, but we get breakfast a pool and hut tub at the Baymont. We are going to trail ride on Friday hopefully 250 miles or so and do some backcountry riding on Saturday. We also have to go visit a friend of mine out off Mancelona road West of the national weather service building about 5 miles too on Sat sometime. If you want to, call or text me on Friday night when you get up to town and we will come ride with you on saturday if you don't mind. Or find some beers on Saturday night My # is 574-274-4930
Hi, Brian! You are an officer... That would explain how well you have ripped on me!! JK! We have a place just north of Gaylord, so we don't usually stay in a hotel. I can give you a couple of suggestions to help you. If you are like us, then you are just looking for a place to rest your head and then get back out on the trail in the morning. So, I am not going to give you any big chain hotels to choose from.

    Timberly Motel - (888) 321.2606

    Downtown Motel - (989) 732.5010

    Ray's Retreat Country Inn - (989) 732.4914

These three Motels are very snowmobiler friendly. Downtown and Ray's are especially accommodating.

Several of us John Dee'er's will be riding backcountry up there on Saturday. We usually head west. Right now that looks to have the most snow. Were do you plan on riding?

    Ann
Hello, You don't know me but I have given you some hard times on the forum at times. Anyway I think you and your group go to Gaylord area and ride frequemtly. Where do you stay? We are headed up that way on Thursday night and didn't know where a reasonably priced place is to stay. We pretty much only ride in the U.P. but are broadening our horizons. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks
