One inch in MW overnight, this shit is getting old, you need to go somewhere warm for a week Mezz, we are leaving Friday for Florida.

The shoreline warms first, if not the ice stays intact around the lake and does not melt quickly. Today was 50 and good sun, tomorrow 60, rain for 3 days, ice should start to weaken soon. It will be late April first ice out this year. I’ll keep you posted.

Nice pics Gary, you hit all the good spots. I used to travel to Vegas every year for our industry trade show, 25 straight years. I a little burned out on the town myself but everyone should definitely visit once.

Nice pics, good to see healthy walleyes! Our ice here in Manitowish is between 12”-18” right now. We can’t seem to shake the cold nights and snowcover. Might happen this coming week with warmer temperatures and some rain.

That is is a huge topic, Vilas County is now opening all county highways to ATV traffic. Proponents are all over how much money they add to the economy, we’ll see if there is the economic benefit that they say there will be. I just hope it’s not a traffic issue or accident waiting to happen.

Crazy!

Looks like about 6” of heavy wet snow. There is ice underneath, we drove back in from Naperville around 4pm yesterday and Ice was bad between Point and Minocqua. I was just glad we didn’t lose power. I had enough of winter, it can leave now.
