    Oxygen vented shield?

Did anyone switch to the flow shield and notice a difference?

    Maybe, just maybe……

If the Euro and GPS models verify in the next 240 hours there could be double digit snow from northern IL all the way past Lake Superior. We can only hope right now but that would be a helluva start! I'll take the snow before cold too! Locally, our wet spots are not right now. Dry around here.

    From AWSC. Price increases

I disagree with this. If 75% of snowmobilers were in clubs this would be fine. Just the fact that the AWSC membership went from 24,000 to 40,000 is a huge bonus. Unfortunately, in our society with such division we not to play politics and do it well. A strong AWSC with large membership helps...

    From AWSC. Price increases

The county receives the payment. This money is then used to buy the equipment from the Groomer machines and drags on down to chain saws and everything in between. Very similar to the app Groomer Tracking Systems but private. It's called Snars and all time and workers are run through SNARS so...

    From AWSC. Price increases

Well they got pissed over $5. The old way was 2 year registration for $30. New way for club members 3 years for $30 and $10 year trail pass. So in a 6 year period with the old method is $90 in registration, the new way is $60 in registration plus passes totaling $60 for a grand total of $120...

    From AWSC. Price increases

This is a very short-minded mindset, and I'm guessing by people who are not in clubs and, therefore, not in the loop of how things actually work. Grooming is only a small part of the expense. Putting in signs, taking out signs, repairing culverts, bridge decks, trail trimming, etc. happen...

    From AWSC. Price increases

You may be right but driving an extra hour or two will offset the savings with increased gas usage. Also, Michigan increases their pass regularly and would expect one within one to two years.

    From AWSC. Price increases

It's just happening now. If you haven't heard from your club they may be behind, but not by much. I just got the email under a week ago and our secretary for the county is usually on top these things.

Trail 1 and 13 loop open?

What gets me is most of us will defend an increase in trail passes every time they go up, but this is the best the MI-DNR can do? I'm sorry but "not worth it" is no excuse. How do you put a value on another trail that can spread out traffic, especially after last year? They need to find a...

What Will You Be Riding This Year?

What I ordered last March. Once I rode my wifes 24 Blizzard I knew it was time to upgrade. The shocks and the rack steering are the same as the blizzard but I wanted the bigger screen this time around.

    Wide Open Wisconsin show

My wife and I went as well. Got there about eleven Saturday. It's nearly a 4 hour drive for us and have never been to either wide open Wisconsin or any older Milwaukee show. Overall we were happy we went. She got a pair of Klim bibs on sale and both of us bought some doo accessories 20% off...

    Summer 2025 restaurant thread

Don't get there too early, either. Wanted to eat lunch there the last Friday of the short season last year and it wasn't open yet. Ended up eating at Sugarbush instead.

Anyone try Club 51 yet? They are in the old Cranberry Lodge building north of Mercer. Good to see it open again.

    Who's chopping at the bit?

HS football has started, so summer basically over for me as weekends at the lake get short. It wouldn't hurt my feelings to put the boat away, and I did order from Bergstroms for sled I haven't taken possession of yet. I would say more nibbling than chomping.

    Free Burgers!

I'm not a huge baseball fan but this years team does have my attention. I know very little about the 82 team but watched the Documentary Just a bit Outside yesterday and highly recommend it. It was very interesting watch, and I didn't realize how close knit that team was. It would be great...
