They expect alot. No dedicated check out. They look to be told to stock the store and mop the bathrooms in between customers. Rarely see more than 2 associates on a shift at a time. We have seen at least 8 DG built in northern WI this past year or so and our traveling is very limited.

Laona, WI got the Family Dollar about 12 years back. The local family run store closed shortly after. I was bummed , they had fresh meat.

The wife and I play a game as we travel around WI.....It's called spot the latest Dollar General....LOL.

That is great news about Popeyes if true ...good product. But I have only found them in sketchy neighborhoods around MKE. Good move if they are moving out of the "hood" and out to the Burbs and northwoods.

When ppl call it rec gas they usually mean non ethanol 91 octane which is better for small engines where the fuel may sit in the machine for months at a time. You can run into 93 octane corn fuel premium as well but IMO that fuel needs to be consumed in a month .

Gawd forbid they did that work at the same time it was widened and improved just a few years ago....

does anyone understand the huge gas price difference from north to south in WI? I can understand jacking prices for the holiday weekend due to corporate greed and all, but the northwoods stayed relatively normal price wise while MKE on south went up 70 cents or more thursday night and...

ok I know this is a week late but watching a little of the Masters last weekend couldn't help but notice the greens looked real bad. Was it talked about?. I also watched at least 10 short putts missed in the half hour I was watching.????
