2025 Sleds

I know I know… if you bought a 24 chances are you hardly rode it yet.

Doo released their new sleds today. For the trail models, some changes are:

-Ras RX front suspension - supposed to be a gamechanger
-Pilot RX skis
-The 10.25 gauge no longer needs a phone connection
-can get a 600 with the big gauge and smart shocks
-can get a turbo 850 backcountry model
-revised hand warmer buttons

Definitely a few things customers have been asking for. Still would like to see better track options (especially for spring orders), better color options for spring orders (how about some more red, yellow is disgusting!), and the 600 motor going on a growth spurt, to a 650-680 size to compete with Polaris (with the same engine design as the 850, which doesn’t have sealed crank bearings).

Skidoo’s main/legendary colors have always been yellow and black and will always continue those colors into the future. From those of us that bleed yellow………. Welcome to SkiDoo if you are new 😐

Nope, I'm good. Of course I will look at what's new but...

Next thing that will entice me to buy new is power steering. Come on Doo...you can doo it. :)

I came from Yamaha and I miss EPS. Love my Mach Z but a sled like that with power steering would be simply awesome FOR ME.

Don’t forget the purple of the 90s lol. I know where Indy is coming from if you like red why not offer it? I get around the yellow by buying solid black in my case 2019 enduro turbo had red highlights. To be fair I don’t like lime green either Yamaha blue was pretty nice but gone now.

I agree eps would be awesome but doo doesn’t seem interested. I think Travis Barn of Parts came up with mps for skidoo but I haven’t followed him recently. Travis will have to shift gears now Yamaha is out of the sled market maybe after market eps.

Yeah, well, seems power steering is like Yamaha, not available, eh.

Lots of eps discussion on dootalk more and more want it for 4s line. When first discussed a few years ago users were no way don’t want now it’s an option I would buy. Aging demos maybe but bad shoulders don’t get better and women would love it if they knew about it. I think doo is getting close on eps but has to time it right for inventory makes everything else obsolete that good.

RAS x is only on a few models. Not on renegade X package or Enduro. I don’t think it was on MXZ
I have a renegade 900 x and it looks like the resale is in the toilet. I was thinking about an etec MXZ just to have a light fun throw around sled again.

It’s on ALL 2 stroke trail models.

Nothin from you guys on the new Poos?!? Dynamix shocks and 9R trail sleds is a lot to talk about!! Just hope they get their quality issues under control

All the powertrain updates make me wonder what issues they've been having. And I tend to like Polaris so not hating on them.
A lot of the issues have been with the boost and 9R mountain sled clutches flying apart and breaking clutch bolts.

Ah, perhaps just more of the "in the field testing, and development", eh? As in hurry up, get it out there!

Not a ton of interest since I won't be snowchecking anything. I've had great luck with my 2022 VR1 650 with 1600 miles so far. 0 miles this year of course. Didn't even pull it off the trailer.

Yes, hard to be interested in a new sled when I put on very limited miles on my 2024. As it is, I would probably just buy a leftover 2024 that will be available at a significantly reduced price between now and the Summer.

I see the entire snowmobile market buyers sitting on their hands software , helmets, aftermarket accessories just going to be a hard sell after a zero miles season. I usually buy something preseason but can’t say I’m considering anything before next season. Hopefully other riders feel differently but I don’t until I can ride again.
