Every year I look forward to riding in this area. Last year the trails were only open for a few days. It looks like both counties definitely picked up 8+ inches of snow thus far and the LES bands are still coming through! Can we get the trails open before the weekend when temps are forecasted...

Wondering if this area is is close to opening their trails? Looks like they are getting a fair amount of snow today. Chris

Well...The grass was beginning to green and I was starting to think about when I could put the pier in when winter decided to gives us one last storm. If this area picks up 12+ is there any chance that the trails would open, even for 24 hours, for one last ride?

Howie I don't have any pictures from Sunday, however I do have one that I took 20 minutes ago (3:40pm) when I saw the Louis Corners groomer out working the trails. I talked to him briefly. Theres a possibility they they will reopen this week.

I just rode a 75 mile loop from Kiel to Howard's Grove to Plymouth to Glenbuela to Elkhart Lake...then back to Kiel. About 50% of the trails were groomed and beautiful. Nice job by the Howards Grove and Sheboygan groomers! The remaining 50%, while not groomed, had lots of snow and was not all...
