    Who's Been Out

How did the trails hold up? Sounded like there were going to be quite a few people heading up to ride. I was glad we got up there yesterday as it was about 12 degrees cooler and cloudy all day. Also word on the street is there may be a buyer for the mosquito.

    Who's Been Out

Hello my name is Jeff and I have a addiction problem to snowmobiling. They say the 1st part is to admit you have a problem.😁😄😄 The problem after I have no plans on doing anything about besides get out and ride more. I am pretty sure that is a wrap for me on this terrible season.

    Who's Been Out

Here you go Indy. I would maybe go a little north of mass. We took off from Pat's. You can definitely take off from mass but the snow gets better a little north of the fire trusell bridges. There are a few water holes just past the bridges but nothing deep. Here are couple of pictures from today.

WINTER STORM WARNING FOR THE KEWEENAW

Yeah I was thinking the same thing but we gave it a go. Stayed on trail 3. Took off from Pat's and rode to Hancock and turned around. Trails were not too bad overall. There were a few water holes but nothing crazy. Actually a bunch of other people had the same idea. I am guessing over 15" of...

WINTER STORM WARNING FOR THE KEWEENAW

The snow eagles said on Monday due to the rain that was coming that trails would not open this season. I did see tracks on the trails around here in St.Germain. This would of made a great base if it was December. For me I always love seeing snow. I just love winter and snow.

WINTER STORM WARNING FOR THE KEWEENAW

You could be correct Paul. I know back in February they got just over a foot of lake effect and we went up and rode and it wasn't too bad. I guess it's wait and see if they get enough to take a little ride. Can go for a little ride and hit up Henry's for the ham and cheese sandwich

    The Last of the Yamaha's

Skiroule the 2000 SRX was an excellent sled but the 2002 SRX was really dialed in from Yamaha. I agree with you the cats and the Yamaha's look really sharp with some nice color combinations.Snoden glad to hear you have had good luck with your sleds. There is no doubt the engine in those sleds...

    The Last of the Yamaha's

I hear really good things about the eps from Yamaha. I am surprised Ski-doo hasn't put on there 4 strokes. I would take a hard look at a 900 with the the small turbo if they did. 130 horsepower with power steering would make for a nice trail sled.🤔

    The Last of the Yamaha's

I remember thinking let me see how this marriage works out. We were at Henry's never inn and we were leaving from that awesome ham sandwich. There was a new viper with half the sled ripped apart and they were trying to get it started. I looked at my buddies and said you never saw that when...

    The Last of the Yamaha's

I for one was hoping Yamaha would fully get back in the game. I owned Yamahas from 94 to 2005. They might not have been the best sleds at the time but they were solid reliable sleds. For me riding in Vilas I would want power steering to ride a 4 stroke for all the miles we ride. I just couldn't...

Thank you for the Journal Nora

Thank you for giving us all update. We all miss John very dearly and it has been such a change not watching John's snow church. I lost my mother a couple of weeks ago and reading this has brought some more tears. While I got my wife there every day to get me through it and I can't help but think...

    Ye olde shillelagh

There are a lot of fires up there that make you wonder. Seen some places up there for sale for quite sometime and then magically after it hasn't sold in awhile poof there is a fire. I always try to be positive and believe in the good im people but does make you wonder.🤔

    TIME TO CALL IT ?

Indy got this site from the man. John Dee would always talk about COD and how good it was. John use to take all of there model runs and then give us his prediction. The gfs is just a model runs not a forecast by the site. It does look like as of now that some areas could see there biggest snows...

    Camso's new Ice Arrowhead track

Camso is the new name for camoplast. I believe it's composit may be the company that is connected with Russia. Camso is what comes on all new factory sleds. Would like to see this track offered as a spring order track I would try it.
