Forgot to mention the same test revealed that the trailer had to be disconnected each time the truck had to be charged due to the layout of the charging stations. That would also be very annoying
I suppose it's possible. I don't recall if the manufacturer installed a barrier when they replaced the axles. Might be worth a call to find out I suppose. I knew when they did the work but honestly can't remember.
That's an excellent point Gary. The axle on my enclosed trailer broke off after 12 years for this very reason. No barrier was in place. ended up bringing trailer to manufacturer and they replaced both axles and reconfigured the frame in this area. Thank God this happened in my driveway!
yesterday. Picked up a new boat trailer from a guy who didn't torque them. Only hand tightened them with a wrench. This was a new trailer. Tires weren't mounted when it was delivered to dealer. He had to install, but had no intentions to torque them to specs (110-120 lbs.). Older guy and...
I have a ton of these too. No clue what they are. I call them inch worms but not sure it’s that’s accurate. I can park a truck on driveway and within minutes there are a dozen of the weblike inchworm things all over it. Crazy
Still in NE Wisc and in the shade is almost to the point where you can't get any work done. Have to keep moving or you will be eaten alive. I always thought WET weather brought more activity not dry weather. This is a new one for me.
It is a heavy tank but it has wheels and a handles which help a lot. The hill does work as I do it every summer. We don't have a marina on our chain so everyone has to to figure out their own way to fill their boats mid summer. A friend of mine showed me the hill trick and it works.
When empty lift it up into the bed of the truck. When fill back up to a hill or something similar and slide it off slowly onto the ground. With no hill (which I have) I would imagine two people to lower off the back.
I'm heading up Monday. I will take pics showing the 8X8's leaning sometime next week. I had my guy fixing the dock yesterday. AS the 8X8's lean towards shore they push the decking up higher so they have to cut them down and reset the deck boards. Trust me it moves. Absolutely hard to believe I...
This is the floating dock I would do. There is already one on my chain and you really don’t feel like you are on a floating dock. What I don’t like about it is the wood he uses. Hard to stain. I have the IPE wood on my deck and wouldn’t do it again. If this dock company would agree to an azek...
I wasn't going to continue to address the merits of using them since it's not what the OP was posting about. I will say this and will be done unless the OP isn't bothered by it. I think this would be a good separate thread to be honest.
I personally love the idea of the aerator since my dock...
Sorry this happened to you. I can’t say it’s happended to me since I don’t have one but if you don’t mind me asking how was it working for you? I’ve considers them myself but didn’t have the coconuts to be the only one on our chain to use one. Since I’m not there full time I pictured neighbor...
