    Pure Michigan billboards

Saw a Pure Michigan billboard down here in Indy today. Showed snow on it. At first I laughed, then I cried.

Question for owners of Motorfist Rekon bibs - 2012

I bought a used set of rekon bibs sized 2x online, and I was surprised at the sizing. I was debating between looking for a 2x or a regular xl, and it turns out the 2x are borderline too small. They are much more "athletic" fit than baggy, and they seem short in the front (the top of the front...

    Hacksaw track

How is the Hacksaw track vs a ripsaw or a cobra? I came across a new take-off cheap, but it looks to me like it's a 100% trail-only track. Just curious on opinions. Thanks.

    M5???

I saw a 2006 M5 on craiglist near my house...I have never seen one of these before. Anyone know what kind of power this 500 puts out? Looks like it has a 141" track. How is this different from a crossfire? I'm more curious than anything.

Yamaha Klim gear - can logos be removed

I see Yamaha-branded Klim gear on ebay for quite a bit less than the price that the regular Klim gear goes for...anybody know if the Yamaha logos can be removed? My guess is they cannot.

Experience with Pulte houses - good or bad???

Well, we've outgrown our current house and we have been considering building house with Pulte (large "tract" home builder). I ask all my life questions on this site, so I figured I'd see if anyone had any experiences with them. The process is almost more like buying a car than a house, as the...

    Sno Pro xtreme trailers?

Anyone heard of Sno Pro xtreme trailers? I asked this question in a different thread, but it's probably buried. Just wondering if they are well-made.

What's a 2 place, 10 ft, enclosed (clamshell?) Triton trailer worth.

It's a 2004 (got more info). Looks to be in excellent condition. Might be for sale. Any ideas on price? Thanks! Also, will a crossover fit in a 10 ft trailer? Thanks.

Fishing question - braided line or mono

I'm going on a fishing trip for the first time in quite a few years. Apparently braided line is now the new thing. I always used mono. Any thoughts on this???

help with part number on Polaris Fusion 600 console

I think I found a replacement console for my 06 Fusion 600 on ebay (mine is cracked down around the thin plastic section by the left foot). Trouble is, the seller doesn't know the part number, so I don't know if it the right one for my 600. The seller says the number 5434952 is stamped on the...

    Sled lift on ebay

If you search on ebay, there are sled lifts going for what I think is a pretty good price - $190 shipped or $125 to pick up. I just ordered one. Ohio Chassis is the Company. I saw positive reviews on another snowmobile forum, so I'm crossing my fingers it works well and holds up. They are...

    new 2011 crossfires for sale???

Anyone know of any new 2011 crossfires for sale? A buddy was talking about one. I'm kind of assuming these are long gone, but who knows with the way the winter was last season...

    Snowmobiling in Northeast Wisconsin

SHOULD SAY ABOVE: "NORTHWEST WISCONSIN" Looking at a map, I was wondering what the trail system is like in Northwest Wisconsin. I've done a lot of riding in Northeast Wisconsin, but really haven't gotten much further west than 51. Is there good riding West of their, such as towards White...

Ice buildup in tunnel Polaris Fusion/IQ

When we took our short tracks to the snowies this past winter, two of us (fusion and iq) had trouble with large amounts of ice building up inside the tunnel, to the point that the suspension would sag even without anyone sitting on it. Is this a common problem and is there any fix for it? The...

    Oil/Gas ratio Polaris 600 carb

The Poo burn down thread got me thinking...was is the appropriate oil/gas ratio for a 2006 Polaris 600 carb (before the EPA cracked down)? Not that I'll be able to test this for about 9 months...I figured it would probably be about 40:1, or 100 miles on a quart assuming 10 miles a gallon of...

    Extending Fusion 600 - 136 vs 144

My Fusion's track is on its last legs, and I was looking on tracksusa's website for prices to extend it. Looking into 136 or 144. The 144 kit has a tipped up rail. With a new track, it costs about $100 more for the 144 plus it looks like I would need to buy an RMK bumper for my Fusion if I go...

I saw Cabela's has some gore-tex bibs on clearance - non-insulated for trail riding??

As said above, I saw Cabela's has some gore-tex bibs on clearance. Pretty good deals. I was looking into them, but the only ones in my size and in a color I would want are non-insulated. I was wondering if anyone uses non-insulated bibs for trail riding - if layering with bibs works well...

    Klim inversion compared to everest

Anyone have the Klim inversion jacket? How is it as a midlayer compared to the everest. I like the idea of it using the windstopper material but wondering if it is as warm as the everest?
