    NW Vilas 1/16

As I write this morning it was freezing rain at 6am and by the looks of the radar it will be like that until this afternoon when it might stop and give us a dry window until tonight when it could transition over to snow with a couple of inches. Tuesday looks to be more snow than mixed...

    NW Vilas Update 1/11

Freezing rain this morning turned into 1" of snow today, the high was a cloudy 34 degrees, 38 when I was in Rhinlander. Trails still look pretty good and it is supposed to cool down a little (below freezing during the day) the next few days. Way more snow depth the farther north/northwest you go.

West of Hurley to Upson they are nice as well, they do have a lot more snow up that way but all in all trails have held up pretty...

We currently have 2 degrees this morning and have 6" of snow on the ground in MW area. 4" of heavy wet snow fell on Tuesday followed by an inch of drier snow, this was good for building a base but the lakes now have that on top of maybe an inch or two of solid ice so take that for what it's...
