How Is Your Snowmobile Club Doing?

I'm not one to complain, especially to an organization like AWSC. It just left a bad taste. I could understand someone that is not a big enthusiast not paying club dues and just buying trail permits instead though. I don't think I did anything different joining that I have in previous years.

How Is Your Snowmobile Club Doing?

Top topic of conversation anymore even with people you don't even know is how expensive things are. People are broke and stretched thin, even people that don't appear that way. I'm going to guess that people will wait until the last minute to join a club to get the trail stickers. Speaking of...

    Snocross

It was a good time back then. Good memories watching some of the legends like Blair Morgan. looking back it was crazy how good they were on the old school sleds. I was in my early 20's then so good memories the night before and after the races as well!

    Hay Days

I was really hoping to go but too much going on to make the 4 plus hour drive. The weather is about as good as it gets for Hay Days. I hope attendance was high.

My vehicle was totaled by my insurance company

I went through that a few years ago. I had a rental F150 for close to 6 months because the body shop was waiting on parts. They would have been money ahead just writing my truck off.

    Dollar General

I agree, I avoid shopping at Dollar stores If i can. Kwik Trip is pretty much taking over the gas station/ small convenience stores in Wisconsin, I fear that will be bought out someday.

    Guardian brand A/C

If you are only using it a few weeks out of the year I would go for the savings as well (y) good luck

    Guardian brand A/C

It is a Budget builder grade line built by York. If you are saving money over a better brand I would have no problem it, as long as you have a company that will service it.

    Pictures from a Bucket List

Did you go to the military aircraft museum nearby? Cool little place that is laid back and some of the volunteers even flew some of the planes.

    Best tunnel bag?

We have 3-4 LINQ packs and love them (even on 1 Polaris) Like everything power sports related they are overpriced. The posts above are great ideas.

    Tough Sledding at Ski Doo

Polaris is the same as Doo right now with the 650 being close to the same price as the 850's. my wife really wanted a 650 but decided to try a 850 out. Good deals right now, we got about $5100 off a XC850 with two years of warranty. I tried for a month or more negotiating on slightly used on...

    Retirement Scenario

I like those areas now, but know people that have homes in those areas and they say it's getting less desirable every year, especially Minocqua. I can only imagine what it will be like in the next 20-25 years when it's my time!

    Retirement Scenario

UP with a small house on at least 5 acres in a area within 20 min of one of the bigger cities. Besides things that make me money I'm somewhat of a minimalist, so I do not need much of a house. This is also pending on Michigan not getting to out of whack politically. I Also want it to be in a...

    New truck options

Last purchase I looked into getting an F150 max tow. Pricing them I found out for not much more I could get a Duramax HD with comparable options. Ford sure is proud of their F150's

    New truck options

They sure do. Crazy how it will upshift a few times on hills pulling 14k where my gas trucks are in one low gear screaming!
