    Total Knee Replacement question!

This last surgery I believe 2 weeks. However she was only using it before bedtime after the first week. The first replacement on this knee (3 yrs ago) she didn’t sleep for 5 weeks, lots of pain.

    Total Knee Replacement question!

Glad to hear of your progress. 103, my wife made that once the other day, 2 months after her surgery! From my wife’s experience nighttime is the tougher time of day. She moves after a couple weeks to Tylenol & Gabapentin before bedtime. Then Tylenol prior to PT. Keep us posted!

    EUP report!

So the whole brew ha ha is really the road commission. Our Congressman has inserted himself into the mix along with the local businesses. The County Commission runs to a different tune. H15 from Bear Trap to Shingleton was shutdown from sled traffic years ago. Sad the AlgerSorva volunteers spent...

    EUP report!

Great report! From what AlgerSorva has reported about Miner Castle is the local road commission has shut down the H58 part of the trail (1 mile). They say because the sleds have damaged H58 on that stretch. Unfortunately no one can find any damage and the Road Commission won’t provide any...

    mobile tracking device

A buddy that rides out west turned me onto a Garmin (66i). He and his buddies use the satellite network to communicate and show location. The advantage with this setup is satellites are accessible all over the world unlike a phone that once it loses a tower your toast. The SOS button on mine...

    Ski Doo 900 Ace

Interesting location. Similar-ish to my 1200 only you don’t have to remove the muffler. On the 900 turbo behind the seat.

    Munising Conditions

All the groomers have been parked for the last several days. AlgerSorv, TNT Trenary, Schoolcraft, Seney, Grand Marais. You can check all their sites but likely better to see if anyone has posted on the Polaris Ride app. Also check webcams for the area, Buckhorn & Renze Powersports..

    Winters back, back again!

Local forecasters by me haven’t said boo about anything. Tractor tires are getting flat spots waiting for a winter. If Mezz uses the B word, then I will get hopeful….

place to stay between munising & teh falls

GM makes sense. In town there are a couple bed options as well as outside of town. The crazy 8 trails can be a blast.

place to stay between munising & teh falls

Is this for your backpack run? Do you want to start and return to the same motel? Munising to Tfalls ~150 miles. Grand Marais is ~65 miles from Munising/Wetmore.

    Real Trees or Artificial

X2! While growing up we would drive up to Birchwood WI and cut one off our grandpa‘s farm. Sometime in the 80’s the tree came with a ton of ticks. That was the last one from up north….

    Tales from the Trails

I believe it was the winter of 79/80. Lived between Marquette and Munising on M28 on Lake Superior (about a mile from Lakenenland). What is now trail 417 was still abandoned rails then. Hopped between the rails and took off towards Marquette until I ran into an abandoned switch. Fortunately only...
