    What is going on

Indy, I agree with your analysis. However, I have always been one to stay with a vehicle, maintain it, and drive it for many miles. I don’t like car payments, can’t really envision myself buying a new car. I’ll let someone take the initial hit and buy a good used vehicle. My current vehicles are...

    Have you noticed?

Rev, same one most likely. It’s hard to spend money at places that don’t care about you.

    Have you noticed?

Rev, pretty soon we will be stocking the shelves, cutting meat, and putting out produce.

    Have you noticed?

This is not meant to be political but have you noticed how the products that we buy are getting downsized, quality is worse, and overall you get less for a higher price? Example, the Kleenex we buy is now like one ply, very thin, higher priced. The TP we buy varies in quality, very thin, but...

    Refrigerator help

Sucks, have you tried raising the temperature in the fridge to the highest number on the dial? Or I guess I would assume it’s digital temperature readings.

    Well, This Can't Be Good!

I just sprayed on liquid weed and feed today, it was under $10, and took me 10 minutes. I also cut my lawn for the 3rd time this year. Here are pics of my old lawn and my new lawn at the lake. I had to work really hard to keep that lawn looking like it did. I also used 10-10-10 in the Spring and...

    Got the itch

Bob, I would agree with the SxS analogy. Think about it, it could be enclosed for fall and spring, no eating dust, nice ride to the watering hole, etc.

    Well, This Can't Be Good!

Looks like fertilizer burn to me. Disease or infestation happens over a longer period of time and from what you mentioned your lawn was looking good not to long ago.

    It's 2024, Let's Fish!

Skiroule, i agree with you on fall fishing, hard to believe it will be September soon. The nights are cooler by us now as well. Summer fishing is night fishing for us on the walleyes but I haven’t been out as getting the garage sided and other jobs that need to get done in warm weather matter...

    It's 2024, Let's Fish!

Looked like a good walleye day, cloudy with a little chop. Have not fished much this summer, crazy busy putting siding up and visiting grandson among other things. Will get out in September when fishing gets a little better.

    Goose(s)

Darren, in the fence I saw it looked like it was made specifically for geese on a shoreline. It was a very nice home, nice shoreline with a pristine lawn. I know the people who own it and they had someone install it. Sometimes I think having a lawn right by the water is an invitation to those...

    Goose(s)

I have seen some 2ft high mesh netting that blends in nicely and seems to keep the geese out. If I had that problem I would go that route, I think a lot of those gimmicks probably aren’t worth it.

    Huron Islands Jetski trip

Very cool trip! One of those lifetime trips. Were you able to make it there and back on on tank of gas? I’m guessing you did.
