Off trail riding on the local news

Go for it. My point was shoot2kill (and many others on the boards) was insinuating its the young people causing the problems in MX helmets.

How did they screw you? Did you not cancel within the cancelation policy?

    Best fitting helmet.....oxygen

Thank god I haven't rear ended anyone then.....I guess it could be hard to see them both given they are directly in front of your face.

Off trail riding on the local news

Ha!! Its guys like you that think they have it all figured out. Blame the young guys with MX style helmets. Go look at the damn thread about who died this weekend see all those young guys...... I would tell you to grow up judging people by what gear they wear but I'm guessing your over 60...

    Best fitting helmet.....oxygen

This is the best option for vision and comfortable fit. However I really struggle to wear it in temperatures above 20 degrees. Way to daman warm if you are aggressive trail riding. I also love riding behind this helmet because the light is easy to see in the snow dust.

    When you ride in town

Your are totally right to be upset with this happening. Definitely recommend working with the local club to get the word out and maybe better signage to correct the issue. Has to be a solution to prevent the stupid from doing this. One think I will say is......your comment (to be fair, I...

    When you ride in town

Let's just remember.....locals trespass as well. This is not all on people from out of town. I've come across my fair share of locals who think because they live out there the rules don't apply to them.

    Here we go... again.

I agree. Its an investment into the business that will help things flow smoother with no employee needed. Besides, 40k is just like buying a UTV damn near these days.... Raise the price of gas see if the company would spread out the cost over 2-4 years.

Pine Lake Lodge Mission Helmet swapped out and taken

You are way overestimating how smart some of our fellow snowmobilers (or people in general) are. I have heard this same story about three different times in the last week. Heck, I had a lady grab my suitcase at the airport recently and even when security told her it wasn't her bag she refused...

    POLARIS FACTORY PRODUCTION

Controlling inventory is very real across a lot of different industries. It will last while demand is still high but eventually that will slow. Its the reversal of the "race to the bottom" theory on pricing that we have seen for the last decade. Not everything you stated is true but...

    SnowTech Editorial Scary Snowmobiling Future

The last line is the exact problem. If a club's ego is above a little recruiting things will never change. Nobody is waiting to be recruited. However i do think clubs have people and even members on the sidelines that would be willing to help more with a little nudge. The recruiting would...

I'm not worried about finding a new club for myself. I'm good with what I get out of my club. I'm just pointing out the reasons I see for lack of membership or interest in clubs. Specifically in Wisconsin and the UP. Can't speak for areas out East/west.

Clearly different parts of the state are run in different ways. If your down in the southern part sure the business don't so much of the work but I feel it's different in the northern counties. I guess my main issue with the "club" attitude of many on this board is that the people who run the...

I can see why nobody wants to join your club. Your mentality that you shouldn't have to recruit people is your problem. I am a club member myself and honestly see little benefit from it but I always do it because I ride the same area. I see a bigger benefit of supporting the businesses that do...

The irony of you being on the internet saying young people wouldn't survive without it is funny. This is the same argument every year. The old crew thinks everything will fall apart when the younger generations takes it over.

I believe your in the UP....the UP of Michigan is so different then Northern Wisconsin. In the UP it doesn't seem the clubs are filled with the local business owners like it is in Wisconsin. In Wisconsin, sure joining a club is great, but I feel like you can help out in so many ways that are...

    SnowTech Editorial Scary Snowmobiling Future

Most clubs in the UP and Northern Wisconsin are still run like they did 20 years ago (short of maybe using facebook). That to me is part of the problem with the inability of attracting new members. I also rarely see clubs promoting themselves on the weekends when everyone is up riding and...
