I agree, Carlisle or Goodyear. I've had Carlisle tires on my travel trailers & sled trailers, good life span with them. Don't buy tires cause they're cheap, lots of cheap Taiwanese, Chinese & Indonesian junk out there, not worth it.
Slop fest here this morning in the Keweenaw. Wet snow fell overnight followed by rain this morning and 34 degrees. True heart attack snow, what a mess! Local schools here had a 2 hr delayed start. Suppose to see more rain this afternoon then transition to to snow with temps in the upper 20's. I...
We had our first break in snow activity. Saturday was sloppy, after a 2" snow, we had light drizzle from mid morning into the early afternoon. We had a few of the grandkids up to do some early season sled hill action, they were able to fly after I groomed with the sxs.
Been around since the beginning, ever since John was only doing his journal. I am pretty sure it became a forum in 1999, at least that when I am pretty sure I became a member. Been the only social media for me since.
Best I can gather we received a total of 7" with this last round of LES. Initially it was sugar snow, then a light mist of rain when the temp reached 31, temp dropped to 26 late morning then snowed all day into the evening. Winds got crazy through the night into the early morning. Schools were...

I would say so, All schools have been cancelled today with the expectation of the worst. Temps rose to 30 this a.m. with a light mist on top of the 2" of snow we had overnight, kind of a mess, temps are suppose to drop once the front clears & kick in the snow guns again. 7 days straight so far...
Dec 3rd @ 3:14pm, the NWS has posted a Winter Storm Warning for the above counties beginning at 7 pm tonight through Thursday morning. Accumulations of 8-14" are possible. Winds with gusts as high as 50 mph Wed afternoon into Thursday morning are possible.
The first 2 snows we received were not blower snow, it was fine like sugar. Keep in mind, the ground warmth is settling the snow with a sticky base. There is over 2' in the highlands of Calumet. The Lift Bridge cannot be locked down until December 15th or when the canal freezes.
Groomers were...
I have always been conservative in the snowfall outlook, especially that far out. I certainly could not hold onto the totals that were being forecasted that far out & did not expect what we received. I look at it this way, I would rather be an underachiever as an amature in that area as I am not...
Dec 1st an additional 5"+ this morning. A lighter variety this time, but, ground warmth still affecting the ground layers making it kind of heavy. 23"+ is my 3 day total here in the Banana Belt. I haven't had a chance to venture up the hill to Laurium / Calumet but, I can safely assume they have...
