    SnowTech Editorial Scary Snowmobiling Future

I think these newbies will fall by the wayside as life continues to return to normal. You still have to have some mechanical knowledge and ability to withstand rough conditions to enjoy this. Or - the WEF 2030 predictions will come true and none of this will matter. We'll all be urban-based...

    Well, it is here ...

There's been some rumors that group at argos is talking to yamaha too. I'm assuming yamaha wants to continue to have something for its dealers to sell but without having to put any R&D $ into it. Hope they can all find a way to continue. Be nice to see something out there besides switchbacks...

Sorry to hear the continued medical issues. Prayers for you, and hoping they find the issue soon.

    Well, it is here ...

I think it looks really good and I'm happy there is some investment in the brand. Although who knows when the design happened - before or after textron. Seems like they still have some work to do as they haven't shared many details yet. Not having the new engine ready is a concern. That's a...

Rising fuel costs hinder planned trips?

Maybe stating the obvious but it's not just gas prices that have gone up. Everytime you stop for food it's $20, and we don't drink during the day. Hotels up too. Kind of eye opening last season how much everything has gone up. I don't see prices coming down but hopefully they'll stop going up...

Can wooden trailers be used to transport one sled?

Be careful with a 10 foot enclosed trailer. It may work depending on design and sled length but double check before you buy.

    Electric vehicle

That's one goal of the WEF - eliminate private ownership of vehicles. Once the govt owns them all they can worry about keeping them charged and letting you use it when it works for them.

    Electric vehicle

It's almost purely politically driven. Other countries are more nuts than ours about this stuff, believe it or not. Build Back Better isn't just Joe's slogan - pretty much anyone under the spell of the WEF.

The new "Inflation Reduction Act" allows the tax credits to continue even for manufactures that hit the threshold.

Hope you are right about november but the other side is very good at pulling defeat out of the jaws of victory, so to speak.

    Electric vehicle

In Texas and California right now already they are asking people not to charge their e-vehicles during certain times (such as when it's warm). Say e-vehicles are 2% of all vehicles right now. What would happen if they are 50%? So from a practical side we don't have the electrical capacity and...

    Electric vehicle

If that was all true they wouldn't have to put fat taxpayer funded subsidies encouraging the sale of them.

    Electric vehicle

California just passed a law that no new gas stations can be built anywhere. Only reason anyone is talking about electric vehicles is because the feds are going to ram it down our throats. They are niche vehicles as of now - if they work for you great - totally agree Indy - not practical for...

Places to look for used jet ski parts?

Thanks - it is a all in one screen setup with a couple of buttons. So far it's ok without it displaying. The only issue is sometimes it switches to "slo mode" but that can be turned off by holding down the mode button. As long as that keeps working we'll be ok. The amount of gas can seen by...

Places to look for used jet ski parts?

We have a kawasaki stx15. Needs a new gauge. Think the one on it got water in it after being submerged for too long with one of my nephew's riding it and tipped it over. A new gauge is like $900 on ebay. Not worth it for an older jet ski. Was wondering if anyone knows where to find used parts.

Trailers - Good news / Bad News

The cure for high prices is often high prices. Good info that trailer supply seems to be piling up. For riding this year - we were paying $5 in some places late last season but everything else was up too - food, lodging, not to mention everything else someone spends money on outside of riding...

    Gas

Yeah I was being sarcastic. Clearly it's better to produce it as locally as possible as to where it will be used, from an environmental standpoint. But our environmental laws often have the impact of pushing production to places without such standards so it's net loser for the environment.
