    Total Knee Replacement question!

I’ll be 62 10 days before my surgery. Up until Labor Day weekend I was biking 10-12 miles at least 4 times a week. Now, I’m in a lot of pain but doing 5 miles 6 days a week on an Echelon Spin Bike. Not able to push like I was before the final damage was done Labor Day but better than not biking...

    Total Knee Replacement question!

It is unbearable right now and I need to be on my feet for my job. I would have had it done already but I am on blood thinners due to getting a couple stents this past June, I had 99% blockage of the Widow Maker, discovered while cycling, sudden change in my output numbers. My cardiologist would...

    Total Knee Replacement question!

I am 61, I will be 62 when I have the surgery. Up until Labor Day weekend I was able to bike 10-12 miles at least 4-5 times a week, keeping the muscles active to help recovery, in theory anyway. The one thing I have heard over and over was do the rehab soon and often, that is my plan as I really...

    Total Knee Replacement question!

I am getting a total knee replacement December 30th and was wondering if anyone here has before, if so, do you think I will be able to trail ride mid to late February? I am a huge bicycler and my doctor said I will be back on it hard in 6 weeks, so I assume I will be able to ride a sled...

    VOTE! Best Burgers in Wisconsin

I think they have become very pricey for what you get there! I think the Drift Inn, in DePere is as good and half the price. Gary, if you have never had the Tenderloin Steak sandwhich at the ICU, go there, it is amazing!!! $12.99, the steak hangs off the bun and melts in your mouth! We go there...

    We were spoiled

There is a kid on Facebook, probably 16 years old, that John would have absolutely adored! This kid has a following that is truly amazing, somehow I hope their paths crossed at some point. I won't mention names as that is not important right now, I just know John would have loved this kid, his...

    If Your Dog Could Talk...

The part about talking to him even though he doesn't understand is a good one! I was a drug dog handler in the USAF, these were highly trained dogs that were trained not only to detect narcotics but to track, scout and controlled attacks. I had a dog in Turkey, he was a mean sob, when I first...

    Inline trailer loading

Three place V-nose and we always load front to rear, easier to arrange them when they are at the widest part of the trailer and very easy to nurse them out when they are warming up.

Are you old enough to have had a GOOD Tombstone pizza?

I met ole Peppy at a Tittie bar, north of Wausau years ago, he was a hoot! I couldn't figure out why all the strippers were hanging all over him until I found out who he was lol! He honestly was a very interesting guy, we discussed the operation and shared stories about the technology of the...
