Just took my cheapies off my old sled. They roll up and fit behind the gage pod in my new sled for storage. I usually left them on and drove with mechanics gloves even in the coldest weather.

I'd drop down through Wisconsin for a bit. Once you get on trail 3 you will be in Copper harbor in 4 hours easy. On the way back go through ontinogn and drop down.

I found siding scraps under the leaves from my house that have been laying on the ground 5 years and it did not soak up moisture and still looked great. I reused some on my garage.
