Valve should have a gland nut around the shaft, right behind the handle. Probably use a 9/16 wrench & try to turn it tighter (clockwise) just a bit.

Then the "Great Recession" Then the 2012 chassis with a zillion recalls.... 800s & Turbos eating belts, 4 strokes that failed in reverse & 2 recalls to fix the problem, dimmers switches that...

I think it's too soon to be pessimistic about the whole season but the Christmas to New Year tourist rush looks unlikely. FIBs buying up the land & closing trails is a big issue everywhere. That comes from their "Good fences make good neighbors" mentality.
