the show seems to be continuing to grow, along with the attendance, was a good show, swap area was huge this year and yes was nice to see Cat's presence there but don't understand why the other manufacturers weren't there. Vintage show was cool too, was a lot of sleds! pretty neat!

Hey my friends, with my wife's help I my be able to start posting pictures LOL! this is Little Elkhart Lake where we keep our seasonal trailer.

Saw something the other day that they have opened that copper mill on portage lake for tours, has anyone done this yet? what did you think?

besides it seems they were a little ahead of the curve for the times, what makes them so valuable? not many made? or just very desirable?

we have some cool stuff now a days but when you see something like that, with what they had to work with back then, I'm sorry and I know most will disagree but to me.... some of that old stuff is way cooler than what we have today!

dont know what your routes are planned but if trail 8 is open for sxs traffic from Grand Marais that would be my choice, not sure how it looks in green season but in the winter it is a beautiful trail. Also dont know if open yet or if you were planning on going to Teh falls but this winter the...

yes, thats what I was referring to as it seemed to recently have frozen, was not rough by any means but was a little choppy and I know they were working on getting swamps rideable so that may have been what they were doing as well

Thanks! I know was a problem around Teh falls last year, luckily we hit it right with that cold snap that came through but on a few sections of trails where went through swamps you could tell had only recently froze. Thanks for the heads up! we are planning on basing out of Big bay and...

I would usually keep one when ice fishing and make fish chowder with it...to die for! funny about "those slimy things" as they are literally a slime factory through the ice and seem to continue even when cleaning them, what always shocked me about them Is you could literally have one freeze...
