    Goose(s)

there should be open season on geese all the time. kinda like wild hogs and even pythons in florida. Absolute nuisance. Have to throw deer into that group too. I spend half my summer spraying the horrible smelling liquid fence on the landscaping and flowers so they don't eat them. I have more...

    Refrigerator help

Depends on how much time and patience you have. For me, I’d move on based on what you’ve already done. Probably try the main board replacement again since you have one but after that get another one and move on. You get what you pay for so maybe a little more up front for a better one but...

so like deer netting/screen? makes sense. I should try that. I'm just lazy and don't want to get any stakes and netting and cut to size and who knows how far down the shoreline you have to go?

    Goose(s)

I have a goose problem too. When they stop over they lay down a mine field of crap. It's so annoying. Gonna follow this thread and see what people have to say. I would love to find something that works.

When is best time to run a dehumidifier?

from what I’ve read 40-50% is ideal (45%) being perfect. This was from when I was researching allergies and dust mites. Those numbers are the sweet spot. Hard to hit mid summer and even mid winter in extreme cold since humidity that high will for sure get condensation on windows. Need to go...

When is best time to run a dehumidifier?

I have thermostats that use outside air sensors and throttle back the humidifiers based on outside air temperatures to eliminate condensation on the windows. they work very well. Don't have to guess what to set humidifiers at. Stat does all the work for you.

When is best time to run a dehumidifier?

run it all the time. once you get the room at the humidity you want it will cycle itself off and on. If you stop if for 8-10 hours humidity will rise and you will run the dehumidifier non-stop until it reaches set point. I'm sure if you calculated usage you wouldn't have that much more if any by...

Me too in my utility room. Also My AC units have a feature that runs AC at a low speed which acts as a dehumidification mode. Nice feature to have and it works good.

Amen to that. The mold smell is classic northwoods cabin smell. I for one don't like it and run AC once temps are over 80.
