    Summer Boredom........Gas Cans

Check with your local Fleet Farm. In automotive, they sell nozzles with multiple collars for different threads and gaskets. They're about 12 to 15 dollars but then you can throw those ridiculous, push button, knuckle busting, government designed ones over the neighbor's fence.

    What is going on

Should be a good year to shop around. Must be a lot of last year's models I would think. I did read a while ago that BRP had cut production due to inventories.

    What is going on

My Dad and me didn't agree on a lot of things in my younger years, but I remember him saying, "The sooner, and longer you can go debt-free, the better." And I was amazed how fast the money grows when the house and vehicles are paid for." Getting to that point is the hard part and providing...

    Have you noticed?

Yeah, we have a local place out in Greenville that does a nice job with everything from brisket to wagyu. But again, you're going to pay for that quality and it's no fault of theirs. I picked up a pair of baby backs today as I've got a friend who had Rotator Cuff surgery on Monday and I'll be...

    Have you noticed?

Bought any steaks lately? A good ribeye used to be twice as thick as today's cut. Same price though. I suppose you can have the butcher lop off a decent one but it's gonna cost ya.

    Goose(s)

You guys with waterfront properties...I wish I had your problems. Here in suburbia all we got are squirrels, rabbits, and an occasional Jehovah Witness. But I do like that Slingshot idea! As for the squirrels and rabbits....they're just too darn fast.

    Fear the Deere

I met one of those "Skeeters" a few years ago while out riding. He had pulled over for some reason, so I stopped to talk. The guy was proud to show me the features including the lighter and storage under the seat. That engine with the opposing pistons must've been loud as the one piston and jug...

    Fear the Deere

I'll try to walk you through it. First, the photo must be saved on your computer's Picture file. Scroll to where you want to post your picture, across the top of the empty post will be a series of buttons for various tasks. Find the Smiley Face, just to the left is a small square, click on it. A...

    Fear the Deere

Picture and Content from the Top of the Lake Snowmobile Museum. 1976 John Deere Liquidator John Deere introduced two snowmobile models in 1972 and produced around 225,000 before sales stopped in 1984. For the 1975 model year, John Deere introduced a 340S model for cross country racing. 376...

    Refrigerator help

All good advice. I'd shut it down, at least overnight and restart. Sometimes that's all it takes to clear the memory, circuit boards, etc. We all enjoy the convenience of modern appliances but you have to wonder if "less is more." We have an old Frigidaire from around 1999, no ice maker, ice...

    Fear the Deere

I'll be looking forward to the coming weeks and months of this project. 48 years young, the headlight still works, the windshield is in one piece, and the engine starts on the first yank of the rope. He'll have this Deere Running by the time of the first snowfall.

    Well, This Can't Be Good!

I thought I'd throw this one out there since were kinda slow on here during the summer. I'm not sure what's happening here but it's happening fast. Just a week ago these areas were green like the rest of the lawn. Same area from the opposite direction. Of course, this would have to be in our...

    Got the itch

I'll jump in here with compliments to your wife but beware, she may have her eye on a kitchen remodel or new carpeting. Proceed with caution! I've found the Can Am and BRP products to have the best fit and finish. Both of your choices have solid engines and there's plenty of dealers of both...

    2002 Seadoo Waverunner :need opinions

I had one about the same model year. They were pretty basic back then, not much to wear out or fail except the engine and the impeller bearing. $3,300 with the trailer, sure why not.
