Not sure if it's too late but I use a free program called bitdefender on my MAC laptop. seems to work very well and I usually scan for viruses monthly.
Indy, I agree with the other posts, Sayner will be bare as will any town right now. getting gas is ugly so if you can fill up and not have to deal with that all the better. It's 38 and mostly sunny at noon in MW, amazing how the sun takes away what we had but if you do the trails that you have...
There are very rideable trails, you just have to get away from the towns and you find them. I think if we don't get snow on Friday it will be late season riding for sure, by that I mean get back into the forest and stay off road trails because they are burning through fast.
First, It was 38 and sunny today and I didn't leave until 1pm which is OK as I wanted to see how the trails are holding up. After anywhere from 4-8" of snow in our area Monday I would hate to of seen the trails if we didn't receive it. No cause for alarm but that new snow pretty much compacted...
I second that, if you are not sure and there are no tracks better off not going there on the lake, things are warming and flowing under the ice in spots.
5" in MW as of 7am Monday morning, still snowing lightly. It is good packing snow, NWS says possibly 2" more throughout the day. Picture is in my yard and shows what depth's are back in the forest, still up to 2ft in the woods.
8 degrees this morning so trails must have set up pretty well but already bright sunshine at 7:30am, says cloudy and 41 today. Smart to get your riding in early but it being a Sunday most only go for a short ride and head home. Winter Weather Advisory for tonight and Monday, 4-6" snow, if we get...
Well, we made through the day today and trails still look pretty nice. It was cloudy this afternoon and 37, have one more day to deal with but forecasting 41 and partly cloudy.
Bad enough if it's deer or an animal, just plain irresponsible for someone to do that. It's an enjoyable sport, do we now have look both ways for guys coming out of the woods at us? WTF Certain People? Oh, I'm sure you aren't reading this forum, are you?
Unfortunate for you guys. I do think that the new breed of riders are just plain selfish and only think of themselves when they are on the trail as witnessed by many on this forum. While we encounter some of these individuals we also meet many that are great ambassadors of the sport, thanks to...
It was 9 degrees here in MW this morning and it looked like the trails survived from yesterdays warm day. Today is supposed to be 39 Saturday and 40 Sunday and cloudy but the sun is already out burning through some fog. Winter Storm Watch for Sunday night into Monday, Accu Weather calling for...
Starlaker, Yes he was fortunate as the dam is literally 70 feet to the west of where he went through. there were two other guys that helped as well that were good guys, I'm sure more people would have helped out if we wouldn't have been able to get him out. We were out Wednesday around 4:30pm...
