Nice explanation of the step by step process & again, nicely done. I would not have guessed the pan on the Chaparral would be fiberglass, kind of a risky move for the early 70's. It seems to have held up rather well though.
It is pretty sad to destroy, steal or damage anything muchless vital locator signs which help save lives & the wellbeing of those in need of help on the trails. With most of the trail areas in Keweenaw County being so remote, it is a matter of urgency to get to those in need in a timely fashion...

Last winter here in the Keweenaw did not suck as far as snowfall was concerned. Third snowiest on record, with that in mind, I really don't want to see a repeat performance. I would settle for a "normal" snowfall for the season.
I am not certain about WI regulations on UTV, I can only say about MI where UTV's are in fact titled, sleds are only registered. It would seem to me that a UTV would be a "Titled" vehicle in any state.
