An outstanding 1/2" in total since late yesterday afternoon. :rolleyes:For now, at least the temps remain in the teens, for now. It looks like we will be seeing temps in the mid to upper 30's next week. This is the result of a weak La Nina I guess.

We have also been told 3-5" today through Fri morning, so far just a few flakes throughout the day. Temp trends for the upcoming Christmas week are looking to be in the Mid to upper 30's, the roller coaster continues & still no ice on the lakes.

Looks better & better every time, I am anxious to see the next phase completed. Cheers! 🍻

Light LES this morning & expected to continue through the day & possibly through to Friday with 3-5" possible here in the Kee. Looks like portions of WI as well as the South Central & Eastern UP could benefit from the clipper system that is supposed to drop through on Thursday.

The DNR would be the one that would raise a stink about it if caught. There is not enough patrol power out there to enforce it, nonetheless, not legal along State Highways.

Snowmobiles are not permitted along State trunk lines. Snowmobiles are permitted along County roads here in Houghton & Keweenaw counties.

Temps remained in the upper thirties all of Sunday afternoon & through the night. Had some light rain overnight as well. Currently cloudy & 38 degrees. Crazy ups & downs with these temperatures.

Perhaps you need to connect with some local guides to get you around off trail a bit to enhance your experience. Lots of unplowed county roads & old logging roads that are no longer used.
