The Freda loop has been closed as well as trail 3 from Dollar Bay to Lake Linden since 2018 due to the Fathers Day flood that decimated a good chunk of our area. Don't let that deter you from coming, these are just some area's that have not yet been repaired due to bureaucratic BS. On the bright...
The bridge will be lowered & locked into position on Monday Dec 20th according to MDOT release today. Then they can try to get a mat started, but, that should'nt stop crossing regardless. Now all we need are some freshies..... UPDATE: I stand corrected, "should be lowered & locked into position...
We have taken a good hit here in the Keweenaw, but not a total loss of cover. The winds are pretty outrageous right now though. It will get better though, it's early yet, as I have said before, I've seen it start much later than this. Sometimes not until New Years or later, but when it settles...
Nor am I interested in yours, merely making an observation, furthermore, my reponse was NOT for YOU. We believe in civility, no need for attitudes like this here.
Every post above says where they are, granted, not specific GPS locales. I suggest if you want that kind of detail, look up the area your interested in.
Keep Christ in Christmas, there is no other substiute. BTW Gary, nice attachments above! I had to laugh at the Sanford & Son pic, not only hilarious, but something Fred would have said to Aunt Ethster! Good stuff. Merry Christmas to all!
It worked for me as well. I would also like to say that this is a really nice addition, I look forward to it each day. Thank you for doing it. I have missed your forecasting savy for some time now. Sure, the forecast text & graphics are nice, but, this is much better.
The only one I see is in the 5 to 8 day forecast graphic, a State Farm banner right through the middle of it. Go figure.... at least there isn't a lot to see in that time frame, disturbing nonetheless.
I had a whopping 7 above this morning. Tonight suppose to be single digits then gradually warm as we head into the week-end & into next week. Suppose to see temps in the upper 30's. Now, that is a roller coaster ride.
12+ here, high winds have made it a challenge, temps have dropped from 31 to 13 in the last 2 hrs. LES is now in order which will be a little easier to move.
System snows will always be on the heavy side, however, despite our day time high temps of late ( low to mid-thirties) & the sun having been pretty much non-existent. Our night time temps have stayed below freezing, the ground is pretty set up on the surface. Once the system snows pass the good...
I'm not sure, like you, this is too new & I haven't had a ton of time fo figure things out. I wish I had an answer for you, maybe one of the mods can chime in, but, they are also new to the format. If I stumble onto how, I will share that with you.
