Riders out today in Presque Isle. Trails did not look too bad from what I could see from the road. Too much gravel and pavement for me to get to the trails from my house to take one last ride. Talked with riders yesterday at 30 Point Tap and Retreat. Said most of PI and MW trails were still ok...

Started snowing in Presque Isle Friday around 3pm and has not stopped. Was not really predicted system snow but the lake effect machine is dropping white gold. Light, fluffy, minimal moisture content, but it just keeps coming. I would guess 8+ inches at my cabin since it started. Time to clear...

2/14- 3pm. Snow has started in Presque Isle. Saw a lot of riders on my short trip to the dump. Hope we get the several inches they are predicting because there is nothing else forecasted for the next 10 days up here.

Drove back to Chicago from Presque Isle yesterday and crossing the bridge over Minocqua my wife asked me why there were no barrels out. I'm guessing it is because trails are not open?? Anybody??
