No experience but here are a few facts. CC uses GSM which works more off of ATT and T-Mobile towers. So your service experience will be similar to those big boys. If it isn’t ATT, T-Mobile or Verizon, the cellular provider is using one those companies towers. Fyi, I switched a couple years ago...

Is there a way to test the controller to see if mine is kaput? Like ohms test resistance through the cable…

So your actual controller went out? I replaced mine last year (that 3 days there was snow). My second one was intermittent first run this year. I replaced the cord to the helmet plug this season two times yet testing their resistance at home they seem fine.

Mine fogs also when I start going. So I do not latch it starting out until I stop breathing heavy (excitement of hitting the trails). The new “Flow” shield has a small vent in it at the center bottom. Some have been able to actually find that shield and swap it for the original no vent shield...
