    Eastern UP help

I agree with steering clear of Escanaba, we tried one year to loop down and through there and literally ran out of snow not to mention the trails are confusing once you get down there.

    Manitowish Waters and Mercer Area

Just an FYI, The trails in MW have been groomed as of Monday 12/6. They look really nice for a 12/15/21 opener. We received 11" of snow in MW over the last storm. Talked to a bar owner an he said Mercer rolled their trails before the storm and I'm sure they have groomed as well.

    It's National Mutt Day today

This is Riley, our Mello Mutt, she is a mix of Golden Retriever/and we think Chow. She came to us via Columbus, Georgia, her owner had passed away and no one wanted her. We wrote the check for $350 and she is one happy dog in our house. She loves it up here in the Northwoods and is very well...

    11/29

We have about 8" on the ground in Manitowish Waters as of this morning 12/1/21. I left Monday 11/29 for MSP and it was snowing here in MW, got to MSP about 4pm and it was 51 degrees. Quite a transition between a few hundred miles. Its starting to look like winter here.

    late start to snow?

I used to fish the Cisco Chain for years. I think that bay is on the south end of Cisco Lake? to the right before you go into the channel toward Thousand Island and Lindsay? Might be wrong but it looks like it. We live down on the Manitowish Chain now, they actually lower the water by 3.5ft...

I see you leave your piers and shore stations in. Do they drain down your lake a bit?

    late start to snow?

Our lake is completely skimmed over this morning. Cold nights in single digits, 7 degrees this morning, we have about 2" on the ground and I guess more coming this weekend but nothing major. Ground starting to get some frost in it as it should by now.

    Microsoft advice

Bad deal, feel sorry for you and your son. When I bought my last Laptop I was told by my daughter to buy an Apple MacBook 13. I really did not want to buy it because I was more well versed in the Microsoft Windows platforms as an older guy. I listened to her and bought the MacBook. What I will...

    Ironwood to Copper Harbor

Try Keweenaw Mountain Lodge, it looks nice but I think they have a minimum night stay so you'll have to take that into consideration if you stay there.
