Not much for snow here, a dusting to an inch in Town, and around 2 inches out towards Nokomis. But that's good, as we don't need heavy snow while we are making ice....Nokomis is mostly frozen over, and some of the shallow bays have 6 plus inches of ice...other areas on the Lake are reporting...

Planning a trip from Hayward to Iron River Wisconsin, and up to Cornucopia...does anybody know mileage from Hayward to Iron River, and from Iron River to Cornucopia? We have never ridden this area, it will be our first time in February...thanks in advance

Lincoln County Zone one closes tonight at 6 PM....all Lincoln County trails will be officially closed for the season....and tomorrow Oneida County will meet to discuss the fate of the trails there.... you can still ride and find some decent trails...but it's deteriorating rapidly..currently 42...

update...only got just over 1 inch of new snow...heavier bands set up near Irma/Merrill...the sun is coming out, and it's 35...the snow that we got this morning is already melting on the pavement....still very rideable up here...but conditions will change daily with the warm weather thats headed...

Nobody is crying...just stated my opinion...and NO we don't have over 3 feet...we've been pulling snow off the sides of the trails for over two months, to try and keep the trails white as possible. and open as long as we can....no base=NO TRAIl.... can't have people riding dirt on private...
